Hours: 37 per week, Monday-Friday, 08:30-16:30
Pay Rate: £17.18 per hour
Contract Dates: 6 July 2026 - 31 December 2026
We are seeking an experienced Logistics Team Leader to provide day-to-day leadership of a busy driver team within the Gloucestershire Equipment Loan Service (GELS). This role is office-based, with attendance required five days per week.
Key Responsibilities
Lead and manage a team of drivers.
Plan and allocate workloads effectively.
Ensure delivery and collection services are completed on time.
Monitor performance and maintain high service standards.
Respond to customer queries and support continuous improvement.
Build strong relationships with colleagues and partner organisations. Essential Experience
Corporate fleet and logistics management experience.
Knowledge of vehicle servicing, MOT requirements, and insurance claims.
Understanding of driver compliance, including speeding and vehicle-related regulations.
Strong leadership, organisational, and communication skills. Application Requirements
