Monday - Friday, 8:30am-3:30pm
Pay: 90- 115 per day (depending on experience)

We are working with a well-regarded Secondary School in Chelmsford that is seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Teaching Assistant to join their support team. This position will initially be offered as a fixed-term contract, with the school aiming to offer a permanent opportunity from September for the successful candidate.

Job Overview:
This school caters for students aged 11-16.
Full-time, Monday - Friday, Teaching Assistant role.
Provide classroom and one-to-one support for students across KS3-KS4.
Support students with additional learning, behavioural, or emotional needs.
Work closely with teachers and the SEN department to deliver targeted interventions and support strategies.
Help students remain engaged, focused, and confident within lessons.
Support positive behaviour management and encourage student participation.
Assist with monitoring student progress and reporting concerns where appropriate.
Build positive relationships with students, staff, and families.
Contribute to a safe, inclusive, and supportive school environment.

Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
Good organisational and behaviour management skills.
Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to obtain one).
