Manufacturing Assistant (Forklift Licence Required)

Gillingham, Kent

£13.28 per hour

Monday - Thursday 6:00am - 4:30pm

We are currently recruiting for a reliable and motivated Manufacturing Assistant to join our team in Gillingham. This is an excellent opportunity to work a 4-day week with long weekends, in a fast-paced and supportive environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Supporting the manufacturing and production process
• Operating machinery and equipment safely (training provided where required)
• Loading, unloading, and moving materials using a forklift
• Assisting with goods in/out and stock management
• Maintaining a clean and safe working environment
• Following company health & safety procedures at all times

Requirements:

• Valid forklift licence (essential)
• Previous experience in a manufacturing or warehouse environment preferred
• Strong teamwork and communication skills
• Good attention to detail and a strong work ethic
• Ability to work efficiently in a physically active role
