EHC Assessment and Review Officer

280 per day Fully remote 3-6 month initial contract

A Local Authority in West Yorkshire is currently seeking an experienced EHC Assessment and Review Officer to join their SEND service on an interim basis.

This is a fully remote role offering a strong daily rate and the opportunity to contribute to high-quality statutory SEND practice within a busy and supportive team.

The role involves a combination of EHCP plan writing, amendments, and casework, alongside regular engagement with families, schools, and multi-agency partners. Strong relational practice is essential.

• Writing and amending Education, Health and Care Plans (EHCPs)
• Supporting casework across assessments and annual reviews
• Working closely with families, schools, and partner agencies
• Ensuring high-quality, person-centred outcomes for children and young people

• Strong SEND casework experience within a Local Authority
• Confident understanding of EHCP processes and statutory requirements
• Ability to manage relationships across education and family settings
• Strong communication and organisational skills
