French & German Teacher (MFL)

Birmingham

September 2026 Start

£200 - £250 per day (£1,000 - £1,250 per week)

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a talented and enthusiastic French & German Teacher to join a high-achieving secondary school in Birmingham from September 2026.

This successful and ambitious school has built an excellent reputation for academic achievement, strong leadership, and creating a positive learning environment where both students and staff can thrive. The Modern Foreign Languages department plays a key role within the school, and they are seeking a teacher who can inspire a love of languages and help students develop confidence in their communication skills.

The role will involve teaching French and German across Key Stages 3 and 4, delivering engaging lessons that challenge and motivate learners of all abilities. The successful candidate will be passionate about their subject, committed to high standards, and eager to contribute to the wider life of the school.

What we're looking for:

Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent

Experience teaching French and German within a UK secondary school

Strong classroom management and subject knowledge

A passion for languages and student achievement

Enhanced DBS on the Update Service, or willingness to obtain one
