Infrastructure Tester x2

Location: Hampshire (Onsite)
Duration: 18 Months
Clearance: DV Clearance required (Active)

Rate: 450 - 550 a day per day - Outside IR35

We are seeking an experienced DV Cleared Infrastructure Tester to join a major secure government programme based on-site in Basingstoke. This is a hands-on testing role focused on validating and assuring complex Zero Trust Infrastructure environments supporting mission-critical services.

Working within a highly secure delivery team, you will be responsible for planning, executing and reporting infrastructure testing activities across a range of technologies, ensuring solutions are robust, secure and fit for operational deployment.

• Design and execute infrastructure test plans, test cases and test scripts.
• Validate Zero Trust architecture components and supporting infrastructure.
• Perform end-to-end testing across servers, networks, security controls and integrations.
• Verify deployments, configurations and environment readiness.
• Identify, document and track defects through to resolution.
• Support system integration, functional, non-functional and operational testing activities.
• Work closely with engineers, architects, security specialists and delivery teams.
• Produce clear test evidence, reports and assurance documentation.
• Contribute to continuous improvement of testing processes and quality standards.

• Active UK DV Clearance.
• Strong hands-on infrastructure testing experience within secure environments.
• Experience testing complex enterprise infrastructure solutions.
• Knowledge of Zero Trust principles and security architectures.
• Understanding of Windows and Linux server environments.
• Experience testing network infrastructure, authentication services and security controls.
• Familiarity with virtualised and cloud-based environments.
• Strong defect management and test reporting skills.
• Excellent stakeholder communication and documentation abilities.
