About the School:

Are you a patient, enthusiastic, and dedicated Key Stage 1 Teaching Assistant looking to support pupils during a crucial stage of their education?

We are working with a welcoming and inclusive primary school in Manchester, supporting pupils across Key Stage 1. The school promotes a positive learning environment where pupils are encouraged to develop academically, socially, and emotionally. Some pupils may have additional learning needs or SEN, offering you the opportunity to make a meaningful difference through tailored support.

As a Key Stage 1 Teaching Assistant, you will:

• Support pupils in lessons on a one-to-one or small-group basis.
  Assist the class teacher with lesson preparation and delivery.
  Provide targeted support for pupils with SEN or additional learning needs.
  Promote positive behaviour, engagement, and confidence.
  Help create a safe, structured, and inclusive classroom environment.
  Support pupils' academic progress and emotional wellbeing.

Requirements:

• Experience supporting children in a primary school or childcare setting is desirable.
  Understanding of Key Stage 2 learning and curriculum expectations.
  Patient, proactive, and adaptable approach.
  Strong communication and teamwork skills.
  Commitment to safeguarding and promoting children's wellbeing.

TO BE ELIGIBLE FOR THIS ROLE, YOU MUST:

• Hold Right to Work in the UK
  Hold an enhanced child barred list DBS registered with the update service or be willing to apply
  Provide two professional, child-related references covering the last two years
