Teaching Assistant (Boston)

Location: Boston
Salary: £93 £110 per day (depending on experience)
Start Date: September 2026
Contract Type: Full-time / Part-time Long-term / Day-to-day

GSL Education is seeking a motivated and supportive Teaching Assistant to work in secondary schools across Boston from September 2026. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys helping young people succeed and wants to gain valuable experience in a rewarding school environment.

Working closely with teachers and students, you will play a key role in supporting learning, building confidence, and promoting positive outcomes.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide classroom support to students individually and in small groups
• Assist teachers with lesson delivery and classroom organisation
• Help students stay engaged and motivated during lessons
• Support pupils with additional educational needs where appropriate
• Promote positive behaviour and a respectful learning environment
• Adhere to safeguarding and school procedures at all times

The Ideal Candidate Will Have:

• Experience working with children or young people
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• A positive, flexible, and professional attitude
• The ability to build strong relationships with students and staff
• A genuine interest in education and supporting young people
• An enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply)
