We are looking for an experienced SEND teaching Assistant to work at a school in Sutton Coldfield from September 2026 - July 2027.This role will be split between working within Key Stage 1 on a general basis, and also supporting children who are in Key Stage 1 but working to EYFS level.These children do not have any behaviour issues. The children often need breaks from the classroom and have outdoor play and sensory sessions.The school is looking for an individual who is confident in phonics, so previous experience is preferred.The suitable candidate will have a caring, supportive nature and the ability to quickly build strong relationships with pupils.Skills and experience required for our teaching assistant jobs: Level 3+ Teaching Assistant Qualification (NVQ/CACHE preferable) An enthusiastic, well-motivated and talented classroom practitioner Excellent working knowledge of the Primary curriculum Recent primary school experience within the last 3 years Right to Work in the UK Clear Enhanced Child Workforce on the Update Service (if you do not have this, we will require you to apply for a new DBS) Able to provide at least 2 references to cover a minimum of 2 years Strong EYFS and SEND knowledgeAspire People can also offer: £100 bonus after you have worked 10 days £250 recommendation bonus once you have referred somebody to Aspire People and they work 20 days Holiday pay Scheme Flexible work in schools local to where you live Long-term and day to day opportunities A consultant to guide you through your assignments and help you with your CVFor more information, please apply with your CV today and we will be in touch!Aspire People Limited provides services as an Education Agency and an Education Employment Business.
