Senior Electrical Design Engineer

LEEDS

£55,000 - £70,000 DOE + Benefits

An exciting opportunity has become available for a Senior Electrical Design Engineer to join a leading multidisciplinary consultancy based in Leeds.

This role offers the chance to work on a diverse portfolio of projects across sectors includin commercial, education, residential, retail, industrial and leisure. You will be joining an established Building Services team and will play a key role in delivering innovative and sustainable electrical design solutions from concept through to completion.

The Role:

* Deliver electrical building services designs across all project stages.

* Collaborate with architects, contractors, clients and fellow design consultants.

* Attend design and project meetings, providing technical expertise throughout.

* Ensure all designs comply with current regulations and industry standards.

* Support the development of sustainable and energy-efficient building solutions.

* Review technical submissions and undertake site inspections when required.

* Utilise industry-standard software including Revit, Amtech/Trimble and Dialux.

Requirements:

* Degree qualified in Building Services Engineering or a related discipline.

* Proven experience within a Building Services consultancy environment.

* Strong electrical design experience across a variety of sectors.

* Chartered status or working towards Chartership would be advantageous.

* Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.

* Ability to manage workload effectively and contribute to project delivery.
