Salary: £180 - £250 per day (PAYE)

SEND Teacher – Make a Difference with PK Education

PK Education is seeking a dedicated and compassionate SEND Teacher to join one of our specialist education settings from September. This is a fantastic opportunity for a qualified teacher who is passionate about supporting children and young people with additional needs and helping every pupil achieve their full potential.

The Role

As a SEND Teacher, you will:

Plan and deliver engaging, differentiated lessons that meet the individual needs of pupils

Create a safe, positive, and inclusive learning environment

Support students with a range of Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND)

Use effective behaviour management strategies to promote positive outcomes

Work collaboratively with teaching assistants, parents, and other professionals to support pupil development

Monitor and assess pupil progress, adapting teaching approaches where necessary

The Ideal Candidate Will Have

Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)

Experience supporting pupils with Autism, ADHD, Global Developmental Delay, and challenging behaviour

Excellent classroom and behaviour management skills

A patient, resilient, and nurturing approach

Strong communication and teamwork skills

An Enhanced DBS on the Update Service, or willingness to obtain one
