Are you an enthusiastic EYFS Teaching Assistant looking for a rewarding opportunity in Acton? A welcoming and inclusive primary school in Ealing is seeking a dedicated EYFS Teaching Assistant to join their Early Years team from September 2026. This full-time EYFS Teaching Assistant role is ideal for someone who is passionate about supporting young children during the crucial early stages of their education and is confident delivering engaging, child-centred learning experiences.

As an EYFS Teaching Assistant, you will join an experienced and supportive Early Years team that values creativity, collaboration and continuous professional development. This is an excellent opportunity for an EYFS Teaching Assistant who is eager to develop their skills in phonics, early language development and child-centred provision within a forward-thinking school.

Job Responsibilities

• Support the class teacher in delivering engaging and developmentally appropriate EYFS learning activities
• Deliver targeted phonics interventions and support early reading development
• Assist with planning and preparing stimulating indoor and outdoor learning environments
• Build positive relationships with pupils, parents and colleagues to support children's progress and wellbeing
• Monitor and record children's learning and development, providing feedback to the class teacher
• Encourage independence, curiosity and positive behaviour through effective classroom support

Qualifications/Experience

• Experience as an EYFS Teaching Assistant or in a similar role
• Strong subject/curriculum knowledge relevant to the role
• Experience teaching Phonics
• Enhanced DBS Certificate with the Update Service
• Right to work in the UK
