A welcoming and supportive nursery in Lambeth is seeking a SEND Nursery Assistant to join their team, providing 1:1 support for a 4-year-old child with autism.

The Role

As a SEND Nursery Assistant, you will be provided 1 to 1 support for a child with Autism to help them access play-based learning and engage positively with their peers. You will receive training and ongoing guidance from the SENCO and will collaborate with the child s family to ensure their needs are met effectively.

This is a part-time position (11:30pm 4:30pm), with flexibility for candidates able to commit to 3 5 afternoons per week.

Requirements

To be considered for this role, you will need:

• Experience supporting children with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND)
• Specific experience supporting children with Autism
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills
