Job Description

We are currently seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic 1:1 Teaching Assistant to support a Year 1 pupil in a welcoming primary school in Ashington.

This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who enjoys working with children and wants to make a positive impact on a child's learning and development. Previous qualifications are not required – a caring attitude, patience, and willingness to learn are what matter most.

The Role

* Providing 1:1 support to a Year 1 pupil throughout the school day

* Encouraging engagement and participation in classroom activities

* Supporting the child's academic, social, and emotional development

* Working closely with the class teacher and wider school staff

* Creating a positive and supportive learning environment

The Ideal Candidate

* Passionate about supporting children in education

* Patient, reliable, and enthusiastic

* Able to build positive relationships with pupils and staff

* Previous experience working with children is beneficial but not essential

* No formal qualifications required
