Talent Acquisition Coordinator (6 month FTC)

Key Responsibilities
• Post job vacancies on the organisation, our Career site and relevant job boards.
• Manage incoming CVs and organise candidate pipelines.
• Book interviews and coordinate in Hiring Manager diaries.
• Create candidate overviews and briefing documents.
• Ensure recruitment collateral on our external career site is up to date.
• Support onboarding for new internal hires.
• Respond to candidate messages and follow-ups.
• Work as an ambassador for the organisation Recruitment process, ensuring positive candidate experience.
• Partner with Line Managers to ensure recruitment processes are in place.
• Actively support hiring managers with interviewing and other selection processes.
• Facilitate assessment centres where appropriate.
• Support peers with project work where appropriate.
• Actively seek feedback from customers – hiring managers and candidates.
• Work with/manage relationships with recruitment agencies with regards to vacancies (briefing, feedback, offer process).
• Work in collaboration with colleagues and wider People team.
• Maintain and develop strong relationships with desirable candidates during the recruitment process.

Role Overview

We are looking for a proactive and detail-oriented Talent Acquisition Coordinator to assist in recruitment and to support our hiring.
You’ll help create and post jobs, coordinate interviews, and support candidate admin but you’ll also play a key part in helping us find new talent to join our team in our commercial BMD teams.
This is a great opportunity for someone looking to build a career in Talent or People, especially if you’re confident using the organisation and social media to engage people.
This role is a 6 month fixed contract and you will need to come in to the London office twice a week.
Skills and Experience
• Recruitment/resourcing experience would be an advantage, either in an in-house or recruitment agency environment, preferably within retail.
• Proven ability to keep up to date with associated administrative tasks and fast-paced workload.
• Be an effective communicator with excellent organisation skills and the confidence to prioritise workload when demands on time are being made by many managers at once.
• Possess good influencing skills, with the ability to build rapport and persuade others.
• Ability to manage change and remain flexible to individual situations.
• Experienced in screening and short listing candidates.
• Experience of recruitment management systems / e-recruitment solutions and have posted vacancies to job boards.
• Confident using the organisation, social media, and job boards, as well as office productivity software.
• Excellent organisation and attention to detail.
• Comfortable managing multiple tasks at once.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Friendly, professional, and willing to learn.
