Learning and Development Coordinator

Role Overview

We are looking for a proactive and organised Learning and Development Coordinator to join our People and Culture Team. You will play a key role in embedding a culture of continuous learning across the organisation by managing training systems, coordinating sessions, and ensuring compliance with regulatory standards.
Key Responsibilities
• Manage and maintain the training calendar and bookings.
• Lead implementation and upkeep of the human resources learning system (HR System) Learning Module.
• Track mandatory training compliance and escalate non-compliance.
• Produce monthly reports and dashboards for managers.
• Support onboarding and induction for new staff.
• Standardise learning and development processes across services.
• Liaise with external training providers to source cost-effective training.
• Respond to training queries and gather feedback to improve learning offers.
Skills and Experience
• Experience with HR or learning systems (e.g. Human resources learning system).
• Strong data analysis and reporting skills.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities independently.
• Commitment to confidentiality, equality, and inclusion.
• Experience in social care or working with vulnerable groups.
• Familiarity with statutory training requirements in care setting.
