JOB TITLE: Learning Disability Support Worker

About the Role
Vetro Recruitment is seeking compassionate, reliable Support Workers for Learning Disability Support Worker opportunities in Tondu. You will support adults (18+) with autism spectrum conditions and associated complex needs across residential, supported living, and day services. This Learning Disability Support Worker role in Tondu offers both part-time and full-time hours, with day, night, and sleep shifts available.

Key Duties

• Support individuals with everyday tasks, including cooking, cleaning, and personal care
• Promote independence and encourage life skills development
• Build positive relationships with service users, families, and the wider team
• Support emotional wellbeing and help people work towards personal goals
• Participate in engaging activities, including walks, games, music sessions, and arts and crafts
• Ensure safety and dignity at all times
• Observe, monitor, and keep accurate records of support and wellbeing

Requirements

• At least 6 months of experience in a social care setting
• A current Enhanced DBS on the update service, or willingness to obtain one
• Right to work in the UK
• Ability to work above 24 hours per week
• A full driver's licence is essential, as community support and attendance at activities will be part of the role
