Composite Boat Builder – Contract Role

Location: Lee-on-the-Solent

Contract: Ongoing Contract

We are currently recruiting for an experienced Composite Boat Builders to join a busy and highly skilled composites team based in Lee-on-the-Solent. This is an excellent opportunity for candidates with a strong background in structural composite assembly and marine manufacturing to work on advanced marine projects within a fast-paced production environment.

Key Responsibilities

Structural assembly of composite boat components

Working from engineering drawings and technical specifications

Bonding, laminating, trimming and fitting structural composite parts

Installation of bulkheads, hull sections and structural reinforcements

Use of composite materials, adhesives and specialist tooling

Ensuring all work is completed to high quality and safety standards

Supporting wider production and manufacturing teams where requiredCandidate Requirements

Previous experience within boat building, composite manufacturing or marine production

Strong understanding of structural composite assembly techniques

Ability to read and interpret technical drawings

Experience using hand and power tools within a manufacturing environment

High attention to detail and ability to work to tight tolerances

Marine, aerospace, automotive or defence composite backgrounds will all be consideredWhat’s on Offer
