Senior Site Manager / Project Manager

A fantastic opportunity for an experienced Senior Site Manager to join a Tier 1 contractor on a major £85 million school project in Essex. This role offers long-term freelance work on a high-value scheme running through to the end of 2027, providing excellent stability and the chance to be part of a flagship build.

About the role of Senior Site Manager

As Senior Site Manager, you will oversee delivery on a major £85m education scheme based in Essex. You will be working alongside a strong site and commercial team, managing packages and ensuring programme, quality, and safety standards are achieved through to completion in late 2027.

Responsibilities for Senior Site Manager

* Oversee day-to-day site operations and drive programme delivery

* Manage subcontractors and ensure works are completed to a high standard

* Work closely with commercial and design teams to keep the project on track

* Ensure all health & safety procedures are implemented and maintained

Requirements for Senior Site Manager

* Proven experience working with a Tier 1 contractor

* Strong track record delivering high-value school/education projects

* Tier 1 school project experience is essential

* Excellent leadership and communication skills

* Ability to manage programme, cost, and quality effectively
