CNC Miller – Contract Evenings

Mon–Thurs 2pm–11pm / Fri 12pm–8pm

Northampton £28–£35 per hour (Inside IR35)

EMBS Engineering is currently recruiting for a CNC Miller to join a precision engineering company located in Northampton, working on a 6 month contracting basis.

Our client is a market leading precision engineering, advanced manufacturing business that specialises in machining complex, medium sized components for highly regulated industries including Motorsport, F1 and Automotive.

Due to the nature of the markets our client supplies into, all candidates must be UK residents, and DBS checks will be required. Please note we cannot offer visa sponsorship for overseas candidates.

* Opportunity to work with state-of-the-art machinery

* Hours: Afternoons – Mon–Thurs 2pm–11pm / Fri 12pm–8pm (earlier finish on Fridays)

* 6 month contract

Your responsibilities include:

* Setting, operating and editing multi-axis CNC Milling machines

* Machining complex, metallic, precision components for highly regulated industries such as Automotive, Motorsport, F1 and Aerospace within a fast paced environment

* Working from engineering drawings and 3D models

Successful applicants MUST be able to demonstrate:

* Minimum of 5 years experience setting, operating and editing multi-axis Milling machines

* Mazak experience is essential

* Siemens or Fanuc control experience also welcomed

* Ability to program CNC milling machines is preferable but not essential

* Experience running multi-axis machining centres would be advantageous

* Ability to work from engineering drawings

* Previous experience machining complex components, ideally within aerospace, motorsport, nuclear, oil & gas or medical sectors
