Job Description

Le Club Petit Pierrot, French language school for children and established since 1993 is looking for a French language teacher for young children. They offer sessions for children from 6 months to 8 years old in their centres, as well as private tuition or all ages and classes in nurseries and schools.

Their unique devised immersion programme provides children with the opportunity to learn French effortlessly and develop a cultural awareness.

The role of the French language teacher is ideal for a dynamic and creative teacher who is passionate about education and interested in language learning. The successful candidate must be a native French speaking teacher. You will join a dedicated team of teachers and assistant teachers who thrive on collaboration and shared success.

ROLE of the French language teacher:

* Preparing lessons following their devised programme (all resources provided),

* Participating in meetings with peers and management

* Teaching small groups of young children in our centres

* Teaching one to one session for children following their programme or the French curriculum or preparing exams.

* Communicating with parents

PROFILE:

* Native French speaker or French to native level

* Previous experience in teaching to children, or a degree and experience as a camp councillor or early years educator or nursery teacher or Montessori teacher, or language degree and experience in teaching to children

* Ability to adapt to different environment

* Creativity and dynamism are assets for this role

* Strong communication skills

* Must have the right to work in the UK: a Settle/Pre-settled status or other UK Visa types

SALARY & BENEFITS:

* £30 849 per annum for 35 hours per week including preparation and meetings and travelling time.

This is a PAYE position with a contract:

* Paid travel expenses and travelling time

* 8 weeks holiday per year
