Technical Architect (NPPV2 Cleared) - UiPath / RPA Focus

📍 Location: London (1 day per week onsite)

📅 Contract Length: 6 Months

💰 Rate: £500 per day (Inside IR35 - Umbrella)

Overview

We're currently seeking an experienced Technical Architect with active NPPV2 police clearance to join a high-profile programme within a secure public sector environment.

This role is ideal for someone with a strong UiPath Developer background, who can operate at both architecture level and hands-on delivery, designing and implementing scalable automation solutions.

Key Responsibilities

Define and deliver end-to-end technical architecture across RPA and wider systems

Design, build, and optimise UiPath automation solutions (bots/workflows)

Act as both Technical Architect and senior UiPath Developer, remaining hands-on where required

Establish automation standards, frameworks, and governance

Ensure compliance with security, scalability, and policing requirements

Collaborate with technical teams, stakeholders, and business users to shape solutions

Review and approve solution designs and automation processes

Key Skills & Experience

Proven experience as a Technical Architect or Senior UiPath Developer

Active NPPV2 clearance (essential)

Strong hands-on expertise with UiPath (core requirement)

Ability to work across:

Solution architecture and design

Hands-on RPA development

Experience with integration, APIs, and cloud platforms (Azure/AWS)

Background working in public sector or regulated environments

Strong stakeholder and communication skills

Desirable

Experience with TOGAF or architecture frameworks

Knowledge of policing or Criminal Justice IT (CJIT) environments

Exposure to other RPA tools (e.g. Blue Prism, Automation Anywhere)
