Geography Teacher

Middlesbrough Start: September Full-Time, Long-Term (Temporary)
168 - 262 per day (dependent on experience)

Veritas Education are working with a vibrant, inclusive 11-16 secondary school in Middlesbrough seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Geography Teacher to join their team from September on a full-time, long-term temporary basis.

The Role:

• Deliver engaging and high-quality Geography lessons across Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4
• Plan, prepare and assess work in line with national curriculum expectations
• Create a stimulating learning environment that supports all learners
• Maintain strong classroom management and uphold high behavioural standards
• Contribute to the wider life of the school community

The Ideal Candidate Will Have:

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
• Proven experience teaching Geography at KS3 and KS4
• Strong behaviour management skills
• A passion for Geography and inspiring young people
• Excellent communication and organisational abilities
• A commitment to inclusive teaching practices and student progress
• DBS on the update service (although we can support if required)
