Freelance Site Engineer (Nights)

We are currently seeking an experienced Freelance Site Engineer to join a highways infrastructure project in the Lincoln area overseeing night time operations.

Working for a reputable civil engineering contractor, you will be involved in the delivery of a highways scheme incorporating drainage works and carriageway resurfacing packages, with resurfacing experience being particularly important for this role.

Key Responsibilities

* Setting out and surveying works across the project.

* Managing QA documentation and as-built records.

* Ensuring works are delivered in accordance with specifications and programme requirements.

* Liaising with site management, subcontractors and client representatives.

* Monitoring quality standards and supporting the safe delivery of works.

* Assisting with planning and coordination of daily site activities.

Requirements

* Previous experience working as a Site Engineer on highways projects.

* Strong background in road resurfacing and pavement works.

* Experience delivering drainage packages within a highways environment.

* Competent with setting out equipment and engineering documentation.

* CSCS Card essential.

* SSSTS or SMSTS preferred.

* First Aid at Work qualification preferred.

* Full UK Driving Licence
