Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Electrician to join our team in Liverpool, Kirk dale on a contract basis.

Typical duties will include:
General maintenance around the yard, installing temporary supplies to containers. Visit sites around Mersey rail which will require the install tray work, swa, earthing and
single cables with cabinets. Carry out dead and live testing, fill in assurance documentation. An ability to read and understand technical drawings and install to design.

Contract Details:
- Initial contract will be 12 weeks starting 29th June.
- 5 shifts per week minimum & a mix of days and nights. (Nights would be, Mon - Thur & Sat). Possession hours.
-Will predominately be on nights (2300pm - 0500am). But may be asked to work days when possessions are not booked.
-CIS payments, weekly every Friday.
-Rate: 30 hr. (10 hrs paid per shift).

Certs & responsibilities:
- City & Guilds 239-1 Testing and Inspection
- City & Guild 236-5 Electro technical Craft
- City & Guilds 2382-18th edition BS7671
- PTS, personal track safety (Advantageous but not essential)
- Aware of the Installation Test Plan Process (ITP) (Advantageous but not essential
- Understand the importance of documenting all installed worth to as built drawings.
- Being able to work on own initiative.
