Primary School Teaching Assistant (SRB)
Cardiff

Vetro Recruitment is seeking a Primary School Teaching Assistant for a full-time role within an SRB in a Primary School in Cardiff. You will support pupils in creating a positive, inclusive learning environment, working closely with the Class Teacher to raise engagement and learning outcomes.

Key responsibilities include:

• Provide general classroom support across the school day
• Work in partnership with the Class Teacher to plan and maintain an inclusive learning environment
• Support pupils with ALN and additional learning needs, ensuring appropriate classroom strategies are followed
• Manage and support pupils displaying challenging behaviour, using calm, consistent approaches
• Support effective learning routines, engagement, and positive relationships

Essential requirements:

• Experience supporting children with challenging behaviour
• Experience working with children with ALN, SEND, or related additional needs
• A strong commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team, taking direction from the Class Teacher while offering proactive support

Working details:

• Location: Cardiff
• Role: Primary School Teaching Assistant (SRB)
• Working pattern: Full-time, Monday to Friday, 8:30 am to 3:30 pm
• Pay: 92.59 per day minimum
