Job Description

SLR Recruitment are looking for Cherry Pickers to start in a busy shipyard in Tyne & Wear.

This is an ongoing opportunity within a fast paced marine environment, supporting the maintenance, repair, and completion of vessels currently undergoing work on site.

Role Overview

* Operating cherry pickers safely to support site operations

* Assisting trades and site teams with access to work areas at height

* Carrying out general labouring duties as required

* Maintaining a safe and tidy work area in line with site procedures

Essential Requirements

* Valid IPAF ticket

* Previous cherry picker operating experience

* Ability to work safely within a marine or industrial environment

* Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic

Job Details

* Rate: £18.50 per hour

* Hours: 7:00am - 7:00pm

* Paid Hours: 11.5 hours per shift

* Weekend Work: Available

* Positions Available: 5

* Duration: Ongoing, no end date
