Cover Supervisor - Secondary School - Tower Hamlets

Full Time | Term Time Only | ASAP & September Starts Available

Up to £140 per day | Long Term Role (Temp to Perm)

Long Term Futures are recruiting confident and adaptable Cover Supervisors to join a secondary school in Tower Hamlets, supporting students across Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4.

This is an excellent opportunity for individuals looking to gain valuable classroom experience within a secondary setting. The role is ideal for experienced Cover Supervisors, graduates considering a career in teaching, or qualified teachers seeking a long-term opportunity within a supportive school environment.

Key Responsibilities:

Deliver pre-planned lessons across a range of subject areas

Manage classroom behaviour and maintain a positive learning environment

Ensure students remain engaged and on task throughout lessons

Support pupils' academic progress and classroom participation

Work closely with teaching staff and pastoral teams

Uphold school behaviour policies and safeguarding proceduresIdeal Candidate Will Have:

Experience working within a secondary school environment

Confidence leading classes and managing behaviour effectively

Strong communication and organisational skills

A proactive, resilient and professional approach

Ability to build positive relationships with students and staff

Understanding of safeguarding and classroom management strategiesLocation & Transport - Tower Hamlets, East London

Accessible via Whitechapel (Elizabeth Line, Overground, District & Hammersmith & City Lines)

Close to Mile End, Stepney Green and Bethnal Green

DLR access via Shadwell, Limehouse and Poplar
