We are looking for a Technical SEO Specialist to strengthen our global organic growth strategy. In this role, you will focus on technical eCommerce SEO and as a part of your growth you’d be willing to learn and take on new projects such as App Store Optimisation (ASO) at a basic level.
This is a 12 months Fix Term Contract maternity leave cover role, starting at the beginning of January 2026.
You will report to the Head of Organic Channels and play a key role in supporting technical SEO projects and in designing, running, and evaluating SEO tests and experiments and coming up with new initiatives and measuring their impact. You will be working closely with Product, Engineering, Analytics, Creative and other marketing teams to ensure the organisation stays at the forefront of organic growth across search engines, both traditional and AI.
• Support the Sr. Technical SEO Specialist in spearheading technical SEO initiatives across a large-scale, multi-domain, multilingual ecommerce ecosystem.
• Work on SEO tests and experiments by defining hypotheses, running A/B SEO tests and communicating outcomes effectively, consistently validating the impact of technical SEO changes on organic traffic, indexation, and user experience.
• Play an active role in advancing our AI Search readiness strategy to futureproof organic visibility.
• Contribute to site audits, log file analysis, and provide recommendations to improve crawlability, performance, and rankings.
• Collaborate with Engineering and Product teams to prioritise and implement SEO fixes and improvements.
• Partner with Analytics teams to measure test results, build dashboards, and share insights with stakeholders.
• Stay ahead of evolving SEO trends, including AI-search and Google updates, and share opportunities with the business.
Skills and Experience

• You have hands-on technical SEO expertise, preferably in an in-house ecommerce environment, ideally with experience supporting and contributing to SEO projects and experiments.
• You’re comfortable interpreting, sitemaps, hreflang, canonicalisation and structured data at scale. An understanding of Log file analysis would be an advantage.
• You are analytical, comfortable with data tools, and able to translate results into actionable insights by building or contributing to SEO dashboards using analytics platform Studio, cloud data warehouse, or similar analytics environments.
• You’re able to communicate technical SEO requirements to engineers and marketing counterparts alike.
• You have some familiarity with AI search surfaces (AI assistant, Google AI Overviews, AI search tool) and how they may influence organic visibility.
• You are well versed in first party (search performance console) and 3rd party (search optimisation analytics tool, search optimisation tools) to be able to track the performance of the SEO channel.
• Experience with different forms of SEO testing would be an advantage.
• You are detail-oriented, proactive, and eager to test, learn, and iterate.
• Open to learning about App Store Optimisation (ASO) and take that on as one of your growth projects (previous experience is an advantage).
• You are passionate about organic growth, combining curiosity for SEO with a drive to stay ahead of industry changes.
