Teaching Assistant - Romford - September Start

Prospero Teaching are seeking a dedicated Teaching Assistant to join a warm, supportive primary school in Romford, starting September. The school is looking for a committed practitioner with effective behaviour management skills and a genuine desire to inspire and support pupils across the primary age range.

📌 CONTRACT DETAILS

Location - Romford

Position - Teaching Assistant

Type of work - Classroom support

Start date - September

Duration - Ongoing / Long‑term

Full time/part‑time - Full time

Rate of pay - £90-£100 per day (depending on experience)

Hours - 08:30am - 15:45pm

📚 EXPERIENCE, TRAINING AND QUALIFICATIONS

Experience supporting children in a UK primary school (placements accepted)

Relevant TA training or qualifications desirable

Up‑to‑date Safeguarding training issued within the last year (desirable)

✔️ TO BE ELIGIBLE FOR THIS ROLE THROUGH PROSPERO TEACHING, YOU MUST:

Hold Right to Work in the UK

Hold an enhanced child barred list DBS on the Update Service or be willing to apply for one

Provide two professional child‑related references
