TeacherActive is proud to be recruiting on behalf of a well-established nursery in Prenton for an experienced and passionate Nursery Manager.

This is an exciting opportunity for a dedicated early years professional to lead a thriving nursery setting, ensuring the highest standards of care, education, and safeguarding for children while supporting and developing a committed staff team.

As Nursery Manager, you will be responsible for the day-to-day management of the nursery, ensuring compliance with EYFS requirements and maintaining a safe, stimulating, and nurturing environment where children can flourish.

Key responsibilities include:

• Leading and motivating the nursery team to deliver outstanding childcare and education.
• Managing nursery operations, policies, and procedures.
• Ensuring compliance with safeguarding, health and safety, and Ofsted requirements.
• Building strong relationships with parents, carers, and external agencies.
• Supporting staff development through supervision, training, and performance management.
• Managing occupancy levels and contributing to the nursery's continued growth and success.

• Previous experience in a Nursery Manager, Deputy Manager, or senior leadership role within an early years setting.
• A relevant Level 3 qualification in Early Years Education or above.
• Strong knowledge of the EYFS framework and safeguarding practices.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and organisational skills.
