Skills and Experience
• Valid SIA Security Licence (essential).
• CCTV Licence (essential).
• Full UK Driving Licence (preferred).
• Strong communication skills in English both written and verbal.
• Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills.
• Confident in using computers and operating CCTV systems.
• Professional appearance and conduct at all times.
• Ability to work independently (lone working required).

Role Overview
Contract Type: Full-time, Permanent
Hours: Average 42 hours per week 4 on / 4 off shift pattern
Shift Type: Days and Nights
We are currently seeking a professional and reliable CCTV Operator / Security Officer to join our clients dedicated security team This is a key position responsible for maintaining a safe, secure, and welcoming environment for visitors, staff, and retailers.

Key Responsibilities
• Monitor CCTV systems and respond promptly to incidents or alarms.
• Manage site access control and maintain accurate access/egress records.
• Maintain daily logbooks and registers.
• Greet and assist visitors, ensuring a professional and friendly service.
• Notify relevant staff upon visitor arrival and manage appointment tracking.
• Answer telephone calls and handle enquiries appropriately.
• Handle mail and deliveries efficiently.
• Assist visitors upon departure, including arranging transportation if needed.
• Respond to alarms and investigate disturbances.
• Monitor and authorise entry and exit of employees and visitors.

• Check alarm circuits and ensure building systems are functioning properly.
• Uphold high standards of presentation and housekeeping in the control room.
