A globally recognised IT services and consulting organisation is seeking an experienced HR Director for a 6-month contract supporting a large, complex UK business unit. Reporting to the UK HR Director, you will shape and lead the people agenda across workforce strategy, talent management, transformation, and senior stakeholder engagement.
The Essentials
Based in or around the West Midlands - minimum 3 days per week on-site in Telford (non-negotiable)
3-5 years demonstrable HRD or People Director experience
Proven experience managing a workforce of 2,000+ employees
Senior HRBP candidates with strong, relevant experience will be consideredWhat the Role Covers
Strategic workforce planning aligned to business and client demand
Talent attraction, retention, and succession planning
Culture, morale, and employee engagement across a hybrid workforce
Complex ER and industrial relations, including trade unions
Leadership coaching and influencing at senior level
DEI strategy and implementation
People analytics and data-driven decision making
HR partnership on client bids, transitions, and restructuresWhat You'll Bring
Senior HR leadership background in a large, matrixed organisation - IT services or consulting preferred
Strong commercial acumen and ability to connect people strategy to business outcomes
Proven track record in transformation, workforce planning, and complex ER
Public sector or regulated environment experience is advantageous
BPSS clearance eligibility required
£600/day DOE | Inside IR35
