Job Description

Pay: 90- 120 per day
Hours: Mon-Fri, 8:30 - 16:30
Contract: Full-time / Term Time only
Location: Hackney, East London

We're looking for a dedicated Behavioural Support Assistant to support pupils with social, emotional, and behavioural needs. This is a fantastic opportunity for anyone passionate about helping young people thrive while gaining valuable experience for future careers in education, psychology, or youth support.

• Supporting pupils with SEMH needs
• Working 1:1 and in small groups to promote positive behaviour
• Helping implement behaviour plans and emotional regulation strategies
• Assisting teachers in maintaining a calm, structured learning environment
• Building positive relationships to encourage engagement and resilience

• Genuine interest in supporting young people
• Patient, calm, and proactive approach
• Experience or training in behaviour management or manual handling (preferred)
• Strong communication and relationship-building skills
• Experience with children or young people (desirable)
• Ideal for aspiring Youth Workers, Behaviour Mentors, Teachers, or Psychologists
