13.45 per hour

Monday-Thursday: 8:00am-5:00pm Friday: 8:00am-1:00pm

About the Role

Due to continued growth, we are offering an exciting opportunity for an experienced Solderer to join a well-established manufacturing business with over 20 years of success in delivering high-quality, reliable products. Known for enhancing productivity, efficiency, and operator safety, this is a fantastic chance to become part of a respected and supportive team.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform solder touch-ups on circuit boards, correcting faults such as voids, shorts, pinholes, cold joints, and insufficient solder
• Carry out desoldering and component removal where required
• Place and solder through-hole and SMT components (training provided)
• Assemble modules using fixings, wiring looms, and enclosures
• Build and assemble wire harnesses to specification
• Inspect and measure completed products to ensure they meet required specifications
• Escalate any production or assembly issues to the Supervisor
• Maintain tools and equipment in line with manufacturer guidelines
• Use materials efficiently to support cost-effective production
• Accurately complete production and quality documentation

About You

• Previous experience in soldering or electronic assembly
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
• Ability to follow technical instructions and specifications
• A team player with a proactive approach
• Willingness to learn - full training and support provided
