Housing Support Worker

Hamilton Woods are currently recruiting for a Housing Support Worker to support our clients homelessness service.

Duties and Responsibilities of the Housing Support Worker:

• Provide day-to-day support to residents with mental health needs to help them live independently.
• Complete support plans and risk assessments.
• Assist residents with practical tasks such as budgeting, tenancy management, and accessing benefits.
• Promote social inclusion by encouraging engagement in community activities and services.
• Work closely with mental health professionals, social workers, and external agencies to ensure coordinated support.
• Monitor residents' wellbeing and report any safeguarding or welfare concerns promptly.

Essential Requirements of the Housing Support Worker:

• Enhanced DBS
• Full UK Driving Licence and business insurance.
