Teaching Assistant

£97-£100 per day

September 2026-July 2027

A small and cohesive Faith school school setting in a Dagenham are looking to recruit a specialist Teaching Assistant to join their team

The school is of medium size and is led by a driven leadership team who can offer you a clear and structured working environment. Children here are eager to learn, and behaviour is of an excellent standard throughout.

The successful Teaching Assistant will be situated in the school s specialist provision, catering to those with additional needs, and who aren t quite ready to be in the classroom full time just yet . The provision currently has 12 children based there. The needs of these children do not present challenging behaviour.

Safeguarding of its children is at the heart of everything, with the school being praised for both its pastoral support network, and its processes in protecting children and young people.

The school is accessible from Dagenham Heathway. Working days are Monday-Friday, (Apply online only) with a morning break of 15 minutes, and 45 minutes for lunch

Experience and training needed for this role include:

Previous experience supporting children with Special Educational Needs

An understanding/respect of the values required when supporting in Faith school environments

A great team-working ethic, and willingness to immerse yourself into the school culture

A commitment to supporting learners both academically and pastorally
