The organisation is recruiting an Application Support Engineer for a secure, on-site contract role in Cheltenham. This position is outside IR35 and requires active DV clearance.

Join a specialist team maintaining a cross-domain managed service using modern Application Support practices. You'll support deployments, monitor performance, and troubleshoot issues across a diverse tech stack.

Key Responsibilities
Build and deploy code using Java, Maven, NPM, infrastructure automation tooling, and configuration automation tooling
Manage CI pipelines and automated testing (test automation framework)
Monitor services with InfluxDB and Grafana
Provide 2nd/3rd line support and incident response
Perform OS patching, database housekeeping, and data centre opsRequired Skills
Experience in managed service environments
Strong Java or similar development background
Git version control
Strong problem-solving and communication skillsDesirable Skills
