Are you confident, organised, and ready to inspire young people?We're recruiting Unqualified Teachers (Cover Supervisors) to work in secondary schools across RCT. This is an excellent opportunity if you're considering a career in teaching, looking to gain classroom experience, or want flexible, rewarding work within education.

Many of our Cover Supervisors go on to secure long-term roles or progress into formal teacher training.

As an Unqualified Teacher, you'll step into the classroom when the teacher is absent and deliver pre-prepared lessons to Key Stage 3 and 4 students. Your focus will be on maintaining a positive, productive learning environment.

Key responsibilities include:

• Delivering set lesson plans across a range of subjects
• Managing classroom behaviour in line with school policies
• Creating a calm, focused learning atmosphere
• Taking registers and following safeguarding procedures
• Supporting students to stay on task
• Providing feedback to staff after each lesson

This role is perfect for anyone who enjoys working with young people and wants to build valuable school-based experience.

No previous school experience is required - just confidence, enthusiasm, and a willingness to learn.

• Able to work flexibly across different RCT schools

A driving licence is beneficial, but not essential.

Before starting, you'll need:

• An Enhanced DBS on the Update Service
• Education Workforce Council (EWC) registration
• Two professional references from the last two years
