Can Making Department in the
Wigan area. This Team Leader role is essential to our success, responsible for translating the "Heinz Ways" into daily operational reality. You will be a key driver in fostering a
high-performance culture through effective people management and process control.
Hourly Wage: 20.31 Full-Time Reports to: Operations Manager Key Responsibilities As Team Leader, you will be on the floor
leading and supporting a team of Production Operators to achieve consistent results in:
- Leadership and Team Management: Nurturing, coaching, and managing your team's development and performance.
- Performance Management: Consistently achieving production, safety, and quality targets (KPIs).
- Operational Excellence: Implementing rigorous process control and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Quality and Compliance: Upholding the highest standards in product quality and regulatory compliance.
What We Require Essential Skills & Experience - Proven Leadership Experience in a dynamic manufacturing or production environment.
- Strong Interpersonal Skills with the ability to communicate, motivate, and manage diverse teams effectively.
- Solid Knowledge of Production KPIs and experience in driving improvements against them.
- A Flexible Approach to Problem Solving and a commitment to challenging the status quo.
