We are looking to recruit a SEND Teaching Assistant on a day-to-day basis, with opportunities to progress into a long-term role for the right SEND Teaching Assistant. The successful SEND Teaching Assistant will work closely with students on a one-to-one and small group basis, supporting learning, promoting engagement, and helping to create a positive and nurturing environment throughout the school day. This SEND Teaching Assistant role will involve working alongside teachers and support staff to deliver personalised interventions and ensure students can access the curriculum effectively. The ideal SEND Teaching Assistant will be confident supporting students with a range of additional needs and adapting their approach to suit individual learning styles. As a SEND Teaching Assistant, you will play a key role in promoting independence, building confidence, and supporting positive outcomes for every student. This is an excellent opportunity for a dedicated SEND Teaching Assistant seeking flexible work with the potential to secure a long-term position.

The successful SEND Teaching Assistant will have:

• Experience supporting children or young people with SEND

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills

• The ability to build positive relationships with students and staff

• A patient, calm, and nurturing approach

• Experience working within an education, SEND, or care setting

• A proactive and flexible attitude to supporting learning
