Water Capital Projects (AMP8)

Freelance (£450-£500 per shift)

South West

Hybrid Working (1-3 days from home)

Minimum 5-Year Framework

We're recruiting for an experienced Estimator to join a leading civil engineering contractor delivering a major programme of works on a long-term AMP8 water framework.

This is an excellent opportunity to secure a role offering genuine long-term stability, working on a variety of clean and wastewater capital projects across the South West.

Key Responsibilities

* Prepare accurate estimates and tender submissions for civil engineering and water infrastructure projects.

* Review drawings, specifications and tender documentation.

* Price earthworks, reinforced concrete structures, pipelines and associated infrastructure works.

* Liaise with operational, engineering and commercial teams throughout the bid process.

* Identify risks, opportunities and value engineering solutions.

Requirements

* Previous estimating experience within the UK water sector.

* Strong background in civil engineering capital projects.

* Excellent commercial awareness and communication skills.

* Knowledge of NEC contracts would be advantageous.
