Packaging Technician

Worthing (Onsite)

£17 per hour

12 Month Contract

Night shift (Mon - Thurs 21:45 - 07:15)

Our client is currently searching for a Packaging Technician to join their team in Worthing! This is an excellent opportunity to become part of a high-performing team, ensuring products are packaged efficiently and to the highest quality standards.

Key Responsibilities

Operate as a member of the packaging team in line with Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs)

Carry out packaging activities in compliance with GMP (Good Manufacturing Practice) standards

Ensure all products are produced to required specifications and within set timeframes

Deliver planned output targets while maintaining quality and efficiency

Follow all site health and safety requirements at all times

Wear appropriate Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) as required

Maintain clean, organised work areas in line with 5S standards

Keep training records up to date and complete required training

Adhere to strict timekeeping, including shift start/end times and breaks

Experience Required

GCSEs in Maths and English (or equivalent) preferred

Previous experience in a manufacturing or packaging environment (preferred but not essential)

Understanding of GMP or working within regulated environments is advantageous

Strong attention to detail and quality standards

Ability to follow procedures and work accurately

Good communication and teamwork skills

Reliable with excellent timekeeping and attendance
