CE&I Design Engineer

? Hybrid Working - Warrington or Cumbria

? £48 per hour (Umbrella PAYE)

? 12-Month Contract | Immediate Start Available

We are recruiting 2 x CE&I Design Engineers to support a major Sellafield project. This is an excellent opportunity to join a high-profile programme within the nuclear sector, delivering critical design solutions in a highly regulated environment.

Key Responsibilities

Deliver CE&I design packages including drawings, calculations, reports and technical documentation.

Produce designs in line with nuclear industry standards and regulatory requirements.

Provide technical support to construction and commissioning teams.

Participate in design reviews, HAZOPs and project meetings.

Support estimating and planning activities across the project lifecycle.

Essential Experience & Qualifications

Degree qualified in Electrical Engineering or a related discipline.

Proven CE&I design experience within nuclear or another highly regulated industry.

Strong understanding of structured engineering design processes.

Experience working to engineering standards, safety requirements and licence conditions.

Ability to work independently and within multi-disciplinary project teams.

Eligible to obtain SC Security Clearance.

Desirable

Previous Sellafield project experience.

Knowledge of BS 7671 and fixed electrical installations.

Experience with AMTECH/Electrical OM, Relux or Dialux.

Control panel and instrumentation design experience.

Safety-related systems design to BS EN 61508 and BS EN ISO (phone number removed).

Experience producing CE&I calculations and technical documentation to industry standards.
