Bandsaw Operative Nights
Staveley
£14.00 per hour + £22 Night Shift Allowance
Monday to Friday 10:00pm to 8:00am

We are currently recruiting for an experienced Bandsaw Operative to join a well-established company in Staveley on a permanent night shift.

This role is ideal for someone with strong experience operating bandsaw machinery within a warehouse or manufacturing environment, who is reliable, proactive, and looking for long-term stable work.

Duties will include:

• Operating industrial bandsaw machinery safely and efficiently
• Measuring, marking, and cutting materials accurately to specification
• Loading and handling materials using forklift trucks where required
• Quality checking finished cuts to ensure accuracy and standards are met
• Supporting general production and warehouse operations
• Maintaining a clean, safe, and organised work area
• Following all health and safety procedures at all times

• Previous experience operating bandsaw machinery (essential)
• FLT licence preferred (refresher training can be provided if needed)
• Experience in manufacturing, engineering, or industrial environments
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work accurately
• Reliable, proactive, and consistent work history
• Good teamwork and communication skills
• Ability to work permanent night shifts

• £14.00 per hour
• Additional £22 night shift allowance per shift
