Civil 3D Technician - Data Centre Infrastructure Projects

Remote Working Occasional Office Attendance Preferred
40- 43 per hour
6-Month Contract Outside IR35

An opportunity has arisen for an experienced Civil 3D Technician to support the delivery of major data centre developments across the UK and Europe.

This Civil 3D Technician role is ideal for someone with strong infrastructure modelling experience who enjoys producing detailed Civil 3D designs, coordinating utilities and supporting multidisciplinary teams on technically complex projects.

The successful Civil 3D Technician will play a key role in the delivery of large-scale data centre schemes, supporting projects from early-stage design through to detailed construction packages.

The Role

As a Civil 3D Technician, you'll be involved in:

• Producing Civil 3D models and technical drawings for major infrastructure projects
• Developing below-ground drainage designs and layouts
• Coordinating utilities and underground services information
• Supporting earthworks modelling and site development activities
• Producing designs across project stages from concept through to construction
• Working closely with civil engineers and multidisciplinary project teams
• Maintaining model accuracy and technical quality standards
• Supporting project delivery across multiple live schemes

This Civil 3D Technician position offers exposure to complex infrastructure and mission-critical developments within a fast-paced project environment.

What They're Looking For

• Experience working as a Civil 3D Technician or Civil Engineering Technician
• Strong Civil 3D modelling capability
• Experience delivering below-ground drainage and infrastructure designs
• Utilities coordination experience
• Understanding of earthworks and site development projects
• Strong technical drawing and model management skills
• Ability to work independently within remote project teams

Experience across data centres, infrastructure, commercial developments or large-scale engineering projects would be highly advantageous.
