Water Capital Projects (AMP8)

Freelance ( 450- 500 per shift)
South West

Hybrid Working (1-3 days from home)
Minimum 5-Year Framework

We're recruiting for an experienced Estimator to join a leading civil engineering contractor delivering a major programme of works on a long-term AMP8 water framework.

This is an excellent opportunity to secure a role offering genuine long-term stability, working on a variety of clean and wastewater capital projects across the South West.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare accurate estimates and tender submissions for civil engineering and water infrastructure projects.
• Review drawings, specifications and tender documentation.
• Price earthworks, reinforced concrete structures, pipelines and associated infrastructure works.
• Liaise with operational, engineering and commercial teams throughout the bid process.
• Identify risks, opportunities and value engineering solutions.

Requirements

• Previous estimating experience within the UK water sector.
• Strong background in civil engineering capital projects.
• Excellent commercial awareness and communication skills.
• Knowledge of NEC contracts would be advantageous.
