Wheeled Excavator / Rubber Duck Driver

Location: Jarrow, Tyne and Wear (NE32 3DX)

Job Type: Temporary / Contract (2 weeks sick-leave cover)

Start Date: Thursday, 25th June 2026

Hours: Monday - Friday, 07:30 - 17:00 (No weekend work)

Salary: Insert Hourly Rate per hour

We are urgently seeking an experienced and reliable Wheeled Excavator (Rubber Duck) Operator for a 2-week short-term contract covering sick leave at a utility facility in Jarrow.

This is an immediate start for a skilled operator who can hit the ground running and work efficiently alongside the on-site team.

• Safe operation of a wheeled excavator (Rubber Duck) on-site.

• Assisting with groundworks, muck-away, and material movement as directed.

• Adhering strictly to site health and safety regulations.

• Performing daily plant checks and basic maintenance on the machine.

• Valid CPCS or NPORS ticket for Wheeled Excavator.

• Proven experience operating a Rubber Duck on civil engineering, groundwork, or utility sites.

• Full PPE required (Safety boots, hi-vis vest/trousers, hard hat, and gloves).

• Strong commitment to safety and excellent timekeeping.
