Finance Assistant

• Location: Bolton
• Hourly Rate - up to £16.63 per hour
• Job Type - Temporary (12 weeks) Full Time (potential to go permanent)

My client, a respected organisation in the Bolton area, is seeking an experienced Finance Assistant to join their Finance team on a temporary basis for approximately 12 weeks. This is a full-time position and officed based.

Duties

• Allocating incoming payments and receipts across customer and supplier accounts
• Processing purchase invoices, preparing payments, and issuing remittance advice
• Supporting the generation of sales invoices
• Assisting with credit control and debt recovery activities
• Performing reconciliations across key accounts and balances
• Ensuring all financial transactions are recorded accurately and in a timely manner

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Strong attention to detail and analytical skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
• Excellent communication skills.
