NRL are currently recruiting for an experienced HSE Advisor to join a large manufacturing organisation based in Blyth. This is an excellent opportunity to support a fast-paced operational environment, ensuring high standards of health, safety, and environmental compliance.
The Role As HSE Advisor, you will play a key role in supporting site operations with a strong focus on Permit to Work (PTW) systems, alongside general HSE responsibilities.
Key duties include:
Managing and overseeing Permit to Work systems across site activities
Supporting safe execution of maintenance, engineering, and operational tasks
Conducting risk assessments and method statement (RAMS) reviews
Delivering toolbox talks and safety briefings
Carrying out site inspections and audits, ensuring compliance with company and legal standards
Promoting a positive health & safety culture across all departments
Supporting continuous improvement of HSE processes and proceduresAbout You To be successful in this role, you will have:
Proven experience working as an HSE Advisor within manufacturing, construction or engineering environments
Strong knowledge of Permit to Work systems
NEBOSH General Certificate (or equivalent)
Excellent communication skills, with the ability to influence at all levels
